John M. Prenderville

Mr. Prenderville was a Deputy Commissioner with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation for over 20 years prior to his retirement. He also served as Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission from 1978 to 1983. Mr. Prenderville is also one of the founders of the New York Empire State Games, the nation’s largest amateur program. He has over twenty years of executive and management level public service experience for City, State and Federal government organizations and Agencies. Mr. Prenderville is a nationally recognized leader in professional park operations, recreation and amateur athletics.
